This mug is a collaboration with Maria Richardsson, Studio Latitud.
Together we have developed the shape of the mug. We wanted it simple to give room for the print, but at the same time to feel good in the hands and nice to drink from.
Maria has thrown every mug by hand. We have screen printed the motif on tissue paper with coloured clay which in the next step is applied to the mug. Then carefully dried, bisque firing and glaze firing at Studio Latitud here in Skåne.
Since throwing, screen printing and applying the print on the mug is made by hand every mug is unique.
